Benz NTG6.0 Android Auto + CarPlay (Wireless & Wired) 📲
This decoder supports both wireless and wired connections. For example, wireless mode is ideal for daily convenience and quick connection. However, wired mode can be better when you want charging and maximum stability. In addition, MirrorLink / screen mirroring is supported on compatible phones, so you have extra connection options.
Snapdragon 665 + Android 13 Performance ⚡
This kit uses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 (SM6125) 8‑core platform and runs Android 13. Consequently, the interface feels faster when you open apps or switch menus. Moreover, dual‑band Wi‑Fi (2.4G/5G) helps improve streaming stability. Additionally, 4G LTE support (setup/region dependent) can help with online music and video.
Storage for Apps and Offline Use 💾
The standard version includes 4GB RAM + 64GB storage. Additionally, other options may be available, such as 8GB+128GB or 8GB+256GB. Therefore, you can store more apps, music, and offline maps. As a result, you can still enjoy saved content even when the network is weak.
Dual System Switching + OEM Controls Retained 🎛️
You can switch between the original Mercedes system and the Android system. Meanwhile, original controls are retained, so daily operation stays familiar. As a result, the upgrade feels integrated rather than aftermarket.

I’ve had my 2021 GLE with the MBUX system for a couple of years, and while the dual screens are beautiful, the factory smartphone integration was always a bit frustrating—especially the limited screen real estate and lack of app flexibility. I decided to install the DRIKSWVE Snapdragon 665 decoder to bridge the gap, and it is easily the best tech upgrade I’ve made.
The primary benefit is that it is a “stealth” upgrade. You keep your original Mercedes screen, resolution, and all the factory MBUX features, but you gain a powerful Android 13 environment. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 chip is remarkably fast; wireless CarPlay connects almost as soon as I enter the vehicle, and there is zero lag when navigating through Waze or high-res maps. I love that it perfectly retains the original touchpad and steering wheel controls, making it feel like a factory option. The 4GB/64GB memory configuration with UFS 2.1 storage means apps like Spotify and YouTube (for when I’m parked) load instantly. If you want 2026-level connectivity without ruining your Mercedes’ sophisticated interior aesthetic, this is the definitive way to go.

This decoder is a powerhouse. I installed it in my 2022 GLC, and the performance leap over the standard factory interface is noticeable. The Kryo 260 CPU handles multitasking effortlessly—I can jump from my OEM Mercedes menus to the Android interface in about a second. The dual-band WiFi (5G) keeps the wireless connection rock solid, even in city areas with heavy interference. It’s a true plug-and-play solution that preserves all the car’s original information while giving me the freedom of a full Android ecosystem.

The anti-glare is everything. I can actually see my maps now and the install was pretty easy. My car feels brand new! ✨

Incredibly fast boot-up. I can switch back to the original NTG6.0 system instantly to check car settings and then back to Android for my maps. Stable and very high quality!

Finally, a way to get full Android features while keeping the OEM look. The 8-core processor makes a huge difference in speed compared to cheaper dongles.

The technology is definitely 5-star—the speed and 4G connectivity are brilliant. My only reason for 4 stars is that the wiring harness for the NTG6.0 unit is a bit bulky. It takes some real patience to tuck everything neatly behind the head unit so the trim pieces snap back perfectly. Once it’s in, it works flawlessly!
