Great Upgrade with a slight learning curve
The screen is gorgeous and the wireless Android Auto works flawlessly. It’s much more powerful than I expected; you can tell the Kryo 260 CPU is doing the heavy lifting. My only small gripe is that the user manual could be more detailed regarding the advanced Android settings, but there are plenty of forums to help. Overall, a massive improvement over the stock dash.

Solid Build and Great Connectivity
I’m impressed with the hardware specs. Having UFS 2.1 storage means apps load almost instantly. I use the 4G SIM card slot for a dedicated data connection, and the dual-band WiFi is great for quick updates. It’s a very stable system; I haven’t had a single crash in three weeks of daily use.

I was worried about third-party screens being sluggish, but the Android 13 system on this unit is incredibly smooth. The 4GB RAM handles multitasking easily, and the Adreno 610 GPU makes the interface look high-end. It feels just as responsive as a brand-new tablet. Plus, keeping my original iDrive functions while adding modern tech is a huge win.

Excellent Tech, but watch the Compatibility
The hardware is 10/10. The Snapdragon 665 is much faster than the MediaTek chips found in cheaper units. Audio quality is great and the video playback is fluid. My only advice is to double-check your existing system (CCC/CIC/NBT) before ordering to ensure the wiring matches. Once installed, it’s a powerhouse, but the initial setup requires some attention to detail.

I have a 2008 E87 that originally came with no monitor at all. Installing this 10.25-inch screen has completely modernized the cabin. The Snapdragon 665 chip is surprisingly snappy—no lag when jumping between Spotify and Google Maps. The resolution is crisp, and the wireless CarPlay connects before I even pull out of my driveway. Best upgrade I’ve ever bought for this car.

Perfect Integration for 1 Series Owners
This fits my 2018 F20 EVO perfectly. It looks like it came from the factory. I love the Dual System feature—being able to switch back to the original BMW menu to check vehicle status and then back to Android Auto with a long press of the Menu button is seamless. The steering wheel controls and knob work exactly as they should.
Danny Park –
The AG anti-glare technology on this screen is the real deal. In my F23 convertible, glare is usually a nightmare, but I can see this display perfectly even with the top down. The 1920*720 resolution is a massive step up from the old BMW CIC screen. The colors are vivid and the touch response is instant.

This is a must-have for anyone with a high-end car. I need this in my BMW ASAP!
