The colors are incredibly vivid thanks to the Adreno 610 GPU, and the wireless CarPlay connects almost the moment I sit in the car. It has completely modernized the look and feel of my dashboard.

Incredible Screen, just be patient with the Install
The hardware performance is easily 5 stars—the Snapdragon chip is a beast and the display is crystal clear. My only minor complaint is that the wiring harness for the F30 CIC system is quite thick, so it takes some finessing to get the head unit to slide back into place perfectly. Once it’s in, though, it’s flawless. If you aren’t handy, I’d suggest a professional install

The 4G high-speed internet support and dual-band WiFi are fantastic. I downloaded my entire Spotify library to the UFS 2.1 storage, so I have music even when I’m driving through the mountains without service. The audio quality is crisp, and the unit stays cool even after hours of driving. A 10/10 product.

Snappy, Powerful, and Zero Lag
Don’t waste your money on the cheaper 2GB RAM units. This Snapdragon 665 with 4GB+64GB is the way to go. The Kryo 260 CPU handles Google Maps, Spotify, and system settings simultaneously without a hint of stutter. Even high-resolution video loads instantly. It’s as fast as my flagship phone, which I didn’t expect from a car head unit!

Seamless Integration with the BMW iDrive System
I was worried about losing my original BMW menus, but the dual system setup is perfect. I can jump back to the original NBT interface to check my tire pressure or service requirements with one click of the Menu button. The original iDrive knob and steering wheel controls work perfectly with the Android interface too. It feels like an OEM part!

This made my 2014 F32 feel like a brand-new car. The 10.25-inch screen is beautiful and very responsive. There is a slight learning curve to configuring the factory reverse camera settings in the Android menu, but once you set it up, it works every time. The wireless Android Auto is stable and fast. Overall, a very solid 4.5-star upgrade!

I installed this in my F33 (4 Series Convertible), and the AG anti-glare technology is a lifesaver. Even with the top down and the sun hitting the dash, I can still see my navigation clearly. The build quality is premium, and the Android 13 software is very stable. Definitely the best tech investment I’ve made for this car.
