Don’t settle for the cheaper chips—get the Snapdragon!
I did a lot of research before buying and I’m glad I went with the 8-core Snapdragon 665. The touch response is iPad-level smooth. The 1920×720 resolution is crystal clear, even with the sunroof open, thanks to the anti-glare coating. Everything from the 360-degree camera to the steering wheel buttons works perfectly.

I’ve had this installed for 3 months now. The GPS is much more accurate than the factory Garmin SD card maps. The built-in 4G LTE is a great bonus—I popped a SIM card in and now the car has its own data for YouTube and Netflix (for the passengers!). Highly recommend for anyone with the NTG 5.0 system.

Incredible screen, but be prepared for the install
The screen quality and Snapdragon performance are definitely 5 stars. However, I’m giving it 4 stars because the installation in the W205/X253 is quite involved. You have to remove the entire center console trim to get to the head unit. It’s tight back there, and cable management is a bit of a puzzle to get the unit to seat flush. If you aren’t handy with tools, pay a professional to do it—it’s worth it once it’s finished!

Amazing tech, but check your audio settings!
The hardware is top-tier. My only gripe is that because the W205 doesn’t have a factory ‘AUX’ input, this unit uses a USB-to-AUX adapter. There was a slight audio delay with videos at first, but I was able to fix it by adjusting the lag settings in the ‘Factory’ menu. Also, make sure you move your fiber optic cables over or you’ll have no sound! Great product, just requires a little bit of technical patience to get it dialed in perfectly.

Perfect fit for my GLC300
Installation in my X253 was straightforward. The dual-system setup is genius; I love being able to flip back to the original NTG 5.0 menu for car settings and then back to Android 13 for navigation. The build quality of the bezel is top-notch—it matches the Mercedes ‘Piano Black’ and silver trim perfectly

Total interior transformation for my C300!
The original 7-inch screen in my 2016 W205 looked so dated. This 12.3-inch DRIKSWVE unit is a massive upgrade. The Snapdragon 665 is incredibly fast—I can run Waze and Spotify in split-screen without a hint of lag. Wireless CarPlay connects automatically every time I hop in. It makes the car feel five years newer.

Keeps the Mercedes soul with modern brains
I was worried about losing the factory knob control, but it works flawlessly with this screen. Scrolling through Apple Music with the rotary dial feels very natural. The UI is clearly inspired by the newer MBUX systems, so it doesn’t look like a cheap aftermarket add-on. Truly a premium product for a premium car.
