How to Make Your Audio Sound
Activate AUX menu：
If your NTG 4.0 OEM menu does not have AUX, you will need to activate it. Otherwise you can’t get Android sound.

The screen is beautiful and the touch response is perfect. I’m only docking one star because the audio gain for the Android side needed some tweaking in the ‘Factory Settings’ to match the original radio volume. Once dialed in, the sound quality is great through the AUX input.

Incredible screen, but be prepared for the install.
The hardware performance is definitely 5-star quality. The Snapdragon chip and Android 13 are stable and very fast. However, I’m giving it 4 stars because the installation on the NTG 4.0 system is a bit of a project.
You have to use an LVDS converter box (included) and there is very little room behind the factory head unit to tuck the thick wiring harness. It took me about two hours of cable management to get it to sit flush. Also, a pro-tip: you must move your two orange fiber optic cables to the new harness or you’ll have no sound. Once it’s in, it’s perfect, but it’s a ‘pro-level’ DIY job.

The dual-band WiFi is fast, but the 4G SIM slot is the best part. No more relying on my phone’s hotspot for data. Everything syncs with the steering wheel perfectly.

I’ve tried the cheaper units before, and they always lag. This is a different beast. The 8-core Snapdragon 665 and 4GB RAM make it as smooth as a modern tablet.
The 1920×720 HD resolution is incredibly sharp, and the anti-glare coating is a lifesaver when the sun hits the dash. Wireless CarPlay connects in about 15 seconds, and I can run Google Maps and Spotify in split-screen with zero stuttering. It truly breathes new life into my 2009 C300. If you’re on the fence, spend the extra for this specific chip!
