How to Make Your Audio Sound
Activate AUX Menu：
If your NTG 4.5 OEM menu does not have AUX, you will need to activate it. Otherwise you can’t get Android sound.

Wireless CarPlay and 4G work great
The built-in wireless Android Auto is a game changer. I also added a 4G SIM card for data, and the internet speeds are very impressive. The audio quality is crisp, and it still works with my factory steering wheel buttons. Highly recommend for any GLK/C-Class owner.

Amazing tech, but tight fit
The screen and the software are definitely 5-star quality. The Snapdragon 665 is fast and the Android 13 OS is very stable. I’m only dropping one star because the installation in the W204 is very tight.
Tucking the main wiring harness behind the factory radio head unit is a major challenge. You have to be very patient with cable management to get everything to sit flush. Also, don’t forget to move your fiber optic cables to the new harness or you won’t have sound! Once it’s in, it’s perfect, but it’s not a 15-minute job.

Great hardware, minor tuning required
The 1920×720 resolution is beautiful and the touch response is perfect. It’s a huge upgrade for the NTG 4.5 system. I’m giving it 4 stars because the audio levels between the Android side and the original Mercedes radio didn’t match at first.
I had to go into the ‘Factory Settings’ to boost the AUX gain so they were equal. Also, the built-in mic for phone calls is just ‘okay’—I recommend setting your phone to stay connected to the original Mercedes Bluetooth for calls while using the screen for everything else. Otherwise, a very solid unit.

High-End Hardware for the W204
I’ve seen a lot of these Android screens using old, laggy processors, but this Snapdragon 665 (SIM6125) is the real deal. The 4GB+64GB combo with LPDDR4X RAM means I can have Waze, Spotify, and a radar app running simultaneously with no stuttering.
The 1920×720 HD display is a massive jump from the grainy 480p factory unit. Even in direct sunlight, the AG anti-glare coating makes the screen perfectly readable. The dual-system integration is seamless—I can switch back to the original NTG 4.5 menu in a second to change car settings. If you want the best performance for your C-Class, this is it.

The 10.25-inch monitor is beautiful. The colors are vivid and the Adreno 610 GPU makes the animations very smooth. It fits perfectly into the dash of my S204. It feels like a high-quality tablet, not a cheap knock-off.
