How to Make Your Audio Sound
Activate AUX menu：
If your NTG 4.5 OEM menu does not have AUX, you will need to activate it. Otherwise you can’t get Android sound.

Essential for long trips with the kids
The B-Class is our family hauler, and having a modern Android 13 system makes life so much easier. I can run YouTube (when parked) for the kids or use Waze for traffic updates in real-time. The Snapdragon 665 handles everything I throw at it. Installation was straightforward for anyone with basic tool skills.

Amazing tech, but watch the wiring space!
The hardware is 5-star quality. The Snapdragon 665 is fast, and the Android 13 OS is clean. Wireless CarPlay is a dream. However, I’m giving it 4 stars because the B-Class dashboard is notoriously tight behind the head unit.
Tucking the huge main harness and the extra USB cables back there took me nearly an hour of trial and error to get the screen to sit flush. Also, make sure you move your fiber optic cables over or you’ll have no sound! Once it’s in, it’s perfect, but be prepared for a bit of a ‘Tetris’ challenge with the wiring.

My 2012 B-Class feels brand new!
I installed this in my W246 B250 with NTG 4.5 and the difference is night and day. The original screen was tiny and useless for modern nav. The Snapdragon 665 is incredibly snappy—no lag when switching between Spotify and Google Maps. The 10.25-inch display fits the dashboard perfectly and looks like it belongs there. If you’re on the fence, get the 8-core version, it’s worth it.

The bezel and mounting bracket for the W246 are spot on. It doesn’t look like a cheap tablet glued to the dash; it looks like the modern Mercedes tablet style. The software even lets you pick a ‘Mercedes-style’ UI for the Android side so everything matches the silver/black interior aesthetic perfectly

Works perfectly with factory dial and steering wheel buttons
I was worried about losing the Mercedes COMAND wheel functionality, but it works perfectly with the Android 13 interface.
I can scroll through CarPlay menus using the factory knob just like the newer MBUX systems. The wireless Android Auto connects before I’ve even backed out of my driveway. Zero complaints!
